My family fell in love with Mrs. Pam when we visited her interactive storytelling in Grays Ferry. Now, you can fall in love with Mrs. Pam at Baby Wordplay’s Little Theater in her new Fairmount Theater location. Miss Pam offers interactive storyplays that engage your little one with words, music, and books. Additionally, Mrs. Pam offers a 15 minute interacitve podcost with early literacy skills. Her episodes brings skills like rhytm and language structure, and vocabulary to your baby. Many moms love playing this during car rides and witching hours to get a calm moment for babies.

If you have yet to join or visit the Nest, you should! When my boys were little, this was my home away from home. The play area downstairs was a prime favorite for those rainy days. It is a great spot for meeting other moms, grabbing coffee, and chatting while your kids play. The Nest also offers various classes, from music to gym and enrichment. If you are a new mom, sign up for Liz’s Hatchlings playgroup for newborns; it’s a great way to connect with new moms. It’s also a great space for birthday parties.

It’s always a favorite of ours, perfect for a drop-in story time class right before lunch and snacks. Or spend a rainy day reading books or playing in a small nook in a library. Check your local branch or visit the main branch in Center City for story times and other family activities.

This is one of those memberships that we adored. It was a must in our family for many years. I love that babies under one are free. So take that little one of yours before their first birthday, stroll, and explore all the crawling and walking spaces they have. It’s a great space to grow with your kids. My kids always got excited about the new exhibit they would present. The museum also has a schedule of story times and events for kids and families.
